Three very different golf clubs – sheer sea cliffs, undulating fairways inland, holes overlooking the water.

Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort — the Gary Player course on the cliffs

Anyone looking for information about Thracian Cliffs Golf wants to know, first and foremost, what the route is like. It's a Gary Player Signature Design inaugurated in 2011: 18 holes, par 72, spread over 85 hectares of cliffs overlooking the Black Sea in the village of Bozhurets, Kavarna Municipality. It measures 6,452 metres from the black tees and 4,483 metres from the green tees, so it remains playable even for mid-to-high handicappers by choosing the right starting points.

The hole is the number 6The green is located about 40 metres lower than the tee and from the back tees the shot is over 210 metres, with the sea below the trajectory. In 2013 the route hosted the Volvo World Match Play Championship, which was won by Graeme McDowell.

BlackSeaRama Golf Club — Gary Player's second signature course

A few minutes' transfer, BlackSeaRama is the other course designed by Gary Player on the coast of Kavarna: 18 holes, par 72, 6,648 metres from the championship's opening holes. The character is different from Thracian Cliffs, less vertical and more open to the undulating hinterland, and for this very reason the two courses work well when played on consecutive days.

Lighthouse Golf — Ian Woosnam's course in Balchik

The third field of the destination is the Lighthouse Golf, open in 2008 on the E87 road near Balchik, about fifty kilometres from Varna. It bears the signature of Ian Woosnam alongside European Golf Design and it is a paragraph 71 on 18 holes, with the final holes descending towards the lighthouse and the coast.

Green fee 2026 on the golf courses of Cape Kaliakra

There are few places in Italy as celebrated as official green fee 2026 published by the resort for Thracian Cliffs is €89 for resort guests e €119 for external players, buggy excluded. Our packages include accommodation within the resort, therefore the rate reserved for guests applies, already included in the package price for the indicated number of green fees. Tee time rates and availability are confirmed at the time of booking.
