What is the recommended period?

April-May and September-October offer the most suitable temperatures for golf and hiking. The Picciolo course, located on a hill at the foot of Mount Etna, is also accessible in summer, when Taormina is perfect for the sea. Villa Sant'Andrea is open approximately from April to October.

Is the price per person or per couple?

The price is per person in a double room and you can find it updated in the "Starting from" box. For single occupancy or group requests, please contact us.

Can I add an extra green fee?

Yes, additional green fees are available at Picciolo Golf Club at preferential rates for Golf Tour Experience customers: we can include them in the quote already.

Is the package customisable?

Yes. We can change the duration and hotel, add the Verdura Resort, or extend the trip to Syracuse, Noto, or Palermo. Contact us for a quote.

How do booking and payment work?

After your contact we send you a personalized quote with specific dates. The reservation is confirmed with a 30% deposit, the balance is due 45 days before departure (60 in high season). We accept bank transfer and credit card. All services are covered by our 24/7 assistance.

Day 01 :

Arrive in Catania and Taormina

Arrival at the airport of Catania and private transfer to Taormina (about 45 minutes). Check-in at Villa Sant'Andrea Belmond, Directly on the bay of Mazzarò. First swim from the private beach and aperitif at sunset on the terrace. Free dinner.

Day 02:

Taormina from the sea and at night

In the morning 2-hour private boat tour in the bay of Taormina: Isola Bella, the Grotta Azzurra and Capo Sant’Andrea. Free afternoon on the beach. In the evening Private guided walking tour in the historic center: Corso Umberto, Piazza IX Aprile, the medieval buildings and the illuminated alleys.

Day 03:

Ancient Theatre, Castelmola or the sea

Free day. We recommend the Ancient Theatre Early in the morning, with Mount Etna and the sea in the background, then the climb to the summit Castelmola for a almond granita and the view of the coast. Alternatively, a day at the beach and relaxation at the villa.

Day 04:

From the sea to the volcano: Il Picciolo

Check-out and private transfer to the slopes of Mount Etna (about 1 hour). Check-in at Picciolo Etna Golf Resort in One Bedroom Suite. Afternoon for a test round at the driving range or a first taste of the Spa. Dinner included at the resort restaurant.

Day 05:

Green fee at Picciolo Etna Golf Club

Green fee at Picciolo Etna Golf Club: 18 holes par 72 on a rocky terrain between vineyards and chestnut trees, the first golf course built in Sicily (1989). Green fee, golf cart and bag included. Lunch in the club house, afternoon in the swimming pool. Dinner included.

Day 06:

Helicopter tour of Mount Etna and Etna DOC wines

In the morning 30-minute helicopter flight over Mount Etna, With pick-up at the hotel: summit craters, lava flows and the Bove Valley from above. In the afternoon transfer to Tenuta Tascante for a tasting of Etna DOC wines among the districts on the northern side. Dinner included at the resort.

Day 07:

Spa and free day at the resort

Free day: access to the Picciolo Spa, the pool, or a second green fee at Picciolo (at a preferential rate, upon request). For those who want to explore, we recommend the villages of Castiglione di Sicilia and Randazzo. Last dinner at the resort included.

Day 08:

Departure from Catania

Breakfast and check-out. Private transfer from Picciolo to Catania Airport (about 1 hour).
