What's the best time?

Western Sicily is beautiful from April to June and from September to October. The Verdura Resort is open from March to November. In summer the temperatures can be high: we recommend tee time early in the morning, when the sea breeze makes golf enjoyable.

Is the price per person or per couple?

The price shown is per person in a double room (double occupancy). For a single supplement, third bed or group requests, please contact us for a personalised quote.

Can I substitute the Verdura Golf Club for another course?

Verdura Resort offers two 18-hole courses and the green fees can be played one per course. Upon request we can also arrange a day on other Sicilian courses.

Is the package combinable with Eastern Sicily?

Yes! We can create a complete Sicily tour combining this itinerary with the Taormina and Etna Golf package, departing from Palermo and returning from Catania (or vice versa). Contact us for a quote.

How do booking and payment work?

After your contact we send you a personalized quote with specific dates. The reservation is confirmed with a 30% deposit, the balance is due 45 days before departure (60 in high season). We accept bank transfer and credit card. All services are covered by our 24/7 assistance.

Day 01 :

Arrival in Palermo

Arrival at the airport of Palermo and private transfer to the city (about 40 minutes). Check-in Villa Igiea Rocco Forte, The Liberty Palace of 1899 overlooking the Gulf of Palermo. Aperitif on the terrace at sunset and free evening: we recommend a dinner in the Kalsa neighborhood.

Day 02:

Palermo: art, markets and flavours

Private 4-hour guided walking tour in the heart of Palermo: the Palatine Chapel With its Arab-Norman mosaics, the market of Ballarò With street food (arancini, panelle, sfincione), the Cathedral and the Baroque Quattro Canti. Free afternoon at the pool at Villa Igiea or among the boutiques on Via Libertà.

Day 03:

Monreale, Cefalù and the island’s views

Private tour with car and guide MonrealeThe Duomo with one of the largest Byzantine mosaic cycles in the world and the Benedictine cloister. Then the road along the coast until Cefalù, With the Norman Cathedral, the promenade and the medieval washhouse. Evening return to Palermo.

Day 04:

Tasca d'Almerita and arrival at Verdura Resort

Check-out and departure towards the hinterland for a visit to the estate Tasca d’Almerita: walk among the vineyards and tasting Sicilian wines, oil and cured meats. In the afternoon transfer to the southwestern coast and check-in at the Verdura Resort Rocco Forte in Junior Suite. Dinner included at the resort.

Day 05:

First green fee at Verdura Golf Club

Morning of golf at Verdura Golf Club18 holes designed by Kyle Phillips along the coast, with several holes overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Green fee, golf cart and bag included. Afternoon at a private beach or in the pool.

Day 06:

Rocco Forte Spa and the Valley of the Temples

Morning at the Be Forte Spa of Verdura (4 hours including the thalassotherapy pools, sauna and wellness area). In the afternoon, private transfer to Agrigento (about 1 hour) for the Guided tour of the Valley of the Temples, UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Temple of Concordia illuminated by the late afternoon sun is a sight to behold. Return to the resort.

Day 07:

According to the green fee at Verdura Golf Club

According to the green fee at Verdura Golf Club, On the other 18-hole course: an opportunity to test yourself on a different course and with the afternoon wind. Last afternoon between the beach club and the pool, aperitif at sunset and free dinner in one of the resort’s restaurants or in Sciacca.

Day 08:

Departure from Palermo

Breakfast and check-out. Private transfer from Verdura Resort to Palermo Airport (about 1 hour and 45 minutes).
