What is the best period for this package?

From April to June and from September to October: mild climate, optimal conditions for playing on the course and less crowded villages. July and August are perfect for combining golf and the sea, but it’s hot: we recommend teeing off early in the morning. The courses are open all year round.

Can I customise the package?

Absolutely. We can add a third green fee (for example, Riva dei Tessali or Metaponto), split the stay between Valle d'Itria and Salento, include a chauffeur-driven transfer instead of self-drive, a cooking class or a day on a boat in Polignano. Contact us for a customized quote.

Is the package also suitable for those who do not play golf?

Absolutely yes. The guided tours, Polignano, Lecce and the tasting are designed for everyone; during the two days of golf the guide can enjoy the spa, the pool and the sea. The guide price is calculated excluding the green fees.

Does the price include bag hire and a buggy?

No. The hire of bags and clubs is not included but can be added for an extra charge. Buggies are not included in the green fee and can be booked on request directly with the club or via our assistance.

How do booking and payment work?

After your contact we send you a personalized quote with specific dates. The reservation is confirmed with a 30% deposit, the balance is due 45 days before departure (60 in high season). We accept bank transfer and credit card. All services are covered by our 24/7 assistance.

Day 01 :

Arrival in Puglia

Arrival at the airport of Bari (50 minutes from the farm) or Brindisi (45 minutes), pick-up of the car and transfer to the Valle d’Itria on your own. Check-in at the hotel masseria 5★, Welcome cocktail and delivery of the kit with maps, tee time and appointments with the guides.

Free afternoon between the pool and the olive trees; for dinner we suggest a trattoria in the white center of Ostuni or Cisternino, with its famous meat skewers.

Day 02 :

Green fee: San Domenico Golf

Breakfast and a few minutes' drive away San Domenico Golf18 holes par 72 among centuries-old olive trees and the sea, where the wind from the Adriatic makes every round different. Lunch in the clubhouse.

Free afternoon: a bath in Savelletri, the farm’s spa, or a walk at sunset in Ostuni, the White City.

Day 03 :

Castel del Monte and Old Bari

You drive north (about 1 hour and 30 minutes) to meet the private tour of Castel del Monte, the mysterious octagonal castle of Frederick II, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the way back, a stop is recommended Bari Vecchia: The Basilica of San Nicola, the ladies who make hand-made orecchiette on the street and an aperitif on the waterfront.

Day 04 :

Trulli of Alberobello and Sassi of Matera

A day dedicated to two unique wonders. In the morning the guide takes you through the trulli in Alberobello (30 minutes from the farm); then continue to Matera (1 hour and 15 minutes), where a second private guide tells about the Sassi Caveoso and Barisano, the cave houses and the rock churches. Free lunch with Lucanian cuisine and return in the evening.

Day 05 :

Green fee: Acaya Golf Club

Departure south towards Salento (about 1 hour and 30 minutes). Green fee at Acaya Golf Club18 holes par 71 amidst Mediterranean scrub and mirrored waters, on the edge of the Cesine Reserve. Lunch at the club house and afternoon on the beaches of San Foca or Torre dell’Orso before returning.

Day 06 :

Polignano a Mare and Lecce Baroque

In the morning, stop at Polignano a Mare for a walk on the cliffs and a view of Lama Monachile. In the afternoon you reach Lecce for an elegant look private carriage tour with driver (1 hour and 30 minutes) between Piazza Duomo, Santa Croce and the Roman amphitheater. A must-try pastry before returning home.

Day 07 :

Sea, relaxation and flavours

Day without an alarm: beach, pool or farm spa. In the evening guided tasting of extra virgin olive oil and Primitivo in a historic estate, between an underground mill and a cellar. Last free dinner: we suggest the raw fish from Savelletri.

Day 08 :

Departure

Breakfast, check-out and return to Bari or Brindisi airport independently, with the return of the car.
