Golf in Veneto - Region of the Month
Veneto is a region located in the north-eastern side of Italy and is home to some of the most inspiring and renowned cities and environments.
The alpine landscape that merges with the lagoon, the mild climate of Lake Garda, natural spas and baths, and numerous wonders make the entire region a valuable tourist destination.
Let’s briefly explore this wonderful region together:
Veneto Curiosities and History
Always a rich and prosperous region, after the fall of the Western Empire and the invasion of the Lombards, Veneto was divided for centuries between the continental area, under Lombard rule, and the coastal area, which witnessed the birth of the splendid Republic of Venice from 697.
Nowadays, the Veneto region is the Italian growth symbol of excellence. Numerous brands, considered the highest ambassadors of the country’s Made In Italy trademark, have taken their first steps in this region. Then, the industrial take-off boosted the region’s economy even further thanks to its strategic geographical position. In fact, connecting the rest of the country with Eastern Europe, Veneto is a nodal point on the economic route.
